The weather is just wonderful this year in Québec, we are very lucky. believe me, it is hard to stay inside, in front of a computer. 

We had lot of visit lately, now it is our turn to go in visit. We are going to see Louis's brother and then a little jump for a week-end in Calgary to see our friends. Cannot wait! 

We went last week-end to see my brother playing guitar in a little band. It was very cool, unfortunately, it was raining. As usual, to see my family and eat mom's food hahaha was great! Soon, I'll post some pix from the show, I just don't have time to process some right now. New images coming soon!

It's been very hot here since many days, no I won't complain, I love hot weather and we can call it very hot. Mostly 40 something degres... unfortunately it is going to stop soon.. too bad ;) 

Here is few new shots. With that heat, it is not easy to work in front of a computer, I do prefer relax outside, in the pool. So, each morning, I wake up quite early as usual, I work and stop around 12:00 to enjoy the weather. 

It's been a very nice week! Last Monday, we went to Shawi to visit JJRD, Hélène, Aguru and MmeEmil. Oh.. we didn't stay for a long time, more than a couple of hours, but it was soo cool to see them. I miss them quite a lot.... And, on last Thursday, Shelly, member Spfoto (istocker exclusive) came to visit us for few days. It was so cool, a little bit fast but soo cool. We did a couple of shooting in Quebec City and in Montreal. I've worked with a new model, she is fantastic!!! I really like her, what a nice and sympatic person. I do hope, we'll work again together soon. Here is few pix, I've lot of work late, I'll be back with some fresh news and pix next week. Happy Canada to all my Canadian fellows!

Yes, I need to update more that blog. With summer and nice weather, we have some guests coming and I just love it. However, it takes time and care ;) you know what I mean. 

Here is my latest pix. Last ones has been done at the summer house, on the beach, we were lucky, the weather and clouds were with us. Lately, I'd to cancel many shootings because of the weather, too much sun, rain.. that day, we were finally lucky. As Louis was the model, of course it was more easy to pack the jeep and go to the beach... more to come.

It was been a wonderful week! Thank you, thank you for your comments, encouragement, etc... I'm really touched... speechless as usual... People knowing me, knew that I was blushing each time I was in front of my computer...  but believe me, I'm very very grateful. THANX!

Wooo hoooo, on the 2th (3th may with the stats update) I've reach the one million dls. I'm not the kind of person to yell it everywhere... but, in my blog, I must say I'm really proud of what i've accomplished. To be honest, it was not a goal to reach the million... but I'm very proud though. I did received lot of love, I'm really touched, I've received lot of emails... and I did take the time to answer to all of them finally.  Lot of people asked what will be my next goal? I'll be honest..when I joined iStock, 7 years ago, my goal was to get 20$ a week... and it turned to be something else in only few months. As I said, I'm still amazed by all happened since then. However, my goal still the same, enjoying life, taking photos, and share with people... my family, homeless, making donation, people that needs care and some happiness... since the very first day, I share what I got because I've been lucky since then and I cannot keep it only for me...  I would love to share more photo tips on my blog, but I've to say something, I don't really know what I'm doing sometimes, I do my images with intuition, I've any clue of technic... that is the truth...

I did it last week, knowing I'll reach the million dls on the 3th... to be honest, it didn't turn like I wanted. I was supposed to look surprise and kind of happy..  Hhahaha I look like a ghost and a bit creepy.

I'm still not ready to leave for Cannes. My suitcase has to be done, my speech has to be done (in powerpoint.. omg I hate that)... and now we are waiting if we'll be able to leave due to the Volcano. Again, today, all flights in destination for Europe are cancelled. It might be last few more days. We are only leaving Monday, however it looks bad for now. So we are waiting, and preparing our trip in case. That would be very sad.. but what to do....

Last days have been totally out of control. We did the second floor, so we were not able to access our computers during few days. Now it's done, it's nice, I'm happy. We still have some little renovations to do like changing the windows, paint, etc... but we'll do it after Cannes, as it's arriving quite very soon. In less then 3 weeks, we'll fly. 

We now have our new car. The Jeep Wrengler Sahara. I just love it. We'll do our first long trip for Easter and go visit my mom. 

Here is few images from my last shootings. I did not have time to do a lot, I still have a lot to process in each serie. The soldier's serie has been inspired by my nephew who is applying for a photography college. He has to built a portfolio in a few days on a theme. He choosed the soldier theme because he was inspired by his brother who is in Afghanistan at the moment. As he just started photography, we invited him to use our studio, we went to shop and bought everything he needed for the images. Really, we were impressed. He did stunning images and he learned photoshop very quickly. I hope he is going to be accepted, he is talented. Then, myself, I'm using the props to make some images too. I'm happy because I did (not online yet) a theme that has not been covered yet in the stock photography, you'll se some later.. I'm still shooting and processing them. 

Am I lazy? I'm not very to date lately in my blog. Well, at least, no news good news, and it is the case. Until now, everything is fine, life is beautiful, spring is there, almost no snow and that is cool to see that the sun is shining everyday since the beginning of March. I feel this year, we'll have a nice spring and summer :) finally. Last 2 years have been not very warm and nice.
