Early Sunday morning, Louis' dad passed away. It is a strange feeling, I cannot realize it now, we are very exhausted by the moving, it looks to me like it is not real. Probably later this week, I'll, at the funeral.. I don't know....

Yes, we are finally in our new house.  We are starting to feel it like our home. The first 2 days, we felt strangers here, now after 3 days, almost not anymore. I've started decorating, etc... Yesterday morning, the guys arrived at 7am to demolish the walls and the floor (well remove hahaha). At 2pm, it was done, no more floor, mo more walls. Now another team comes today to start the new floor. It looks cool actually, lot of natural light, the space is not as big as the loft (it is very different), but imo lot of possibilities! It should be ready by the beginning of next week. I cannot wait, I so want to work, shoot, working is missing me a lot. Louis' brother is arriving tomorrow for the funeral and also to help him to do some modifications here and there. It is very nice from him, me and Louis are not very manual workers.

That is it for today! As you can see, until next week, I won't be able to post any new shoots, but I'll try to grab some snapshots of the house even if it is not all done yet, at least from the second floor!

It is the big day today. In less than 2 hours, we are going to the notary to sign everything for the house. We'll start moving a little bit today, just fragile objects like our photography stuffs, etc... The final moving is going to be Friday. To be honest, I'm exhausted! Most everything is done and packed except our workspace, hehe like many of you, I cannot live without my computer and internet, then we are waiting the last day to pack it. So, I'll be away for few days. In the middle of next week, I should be able to start working, I do hope!

No news really, just wanted to post few images from  the last shooting. Probably the last one before we move... omg in 1 week...

This week has been a big week. I did almost everything before moving house. Insurance, Alarm system, changed adress, estimation for a new floor and remove some walls, etc. Everything goes very fast, we are already starting to move in 11 days. Wow, I'm getting excited. Still cannot believe we are going to stay there. I'll try to do a little party before to go with my neighbors here, they are awesome and they will miss me a lot. 

We also went to Montreal to get other little objects to decorate and buy some furniture for the garden. Here at the loft, I've never decorate,  it was all white, now it is going to change, welcome colorful!  We even bought the paintings that the owner did, it is cool, we'll have a property release for those and we'll use them when we'll shoot in the second floor.  She was happy that we asked because those paintings, she did them especially for that house, soo, they will remain there, we like them, they have a kind of 70's look, like the house. The first floor will be all white, it is not so big so white will be nice imo and of course, in stock photos, white is always welcome.  Now the only things I need to do is to buy the electro household for the kitchen in the studio and a new washing machine. For that, I need to wait that all the floor is done. I hope it is not going to be very long, I cannot wait to do some photos. Here, at the loft now, I only kept a tiny place for shooting, all the rest is full of boxes, omg it is a mess. I've about 50 boxes, cannot believe that I've soo many things, and most of these things are only props for photos. Incredible. So until we move and one week after, we'll have lot of work... quite a lot... I'll be probably quiet.
